A five-minute brain break
Castle Bonk is a free castle defense game that runs in a browser tab. Each day of the campaign takes 2 to 5 minutes, so one day fits neatly into a short break, and a calm Camp screen marks the end of every round.
Why it works in a classroom
- No login, no chat. Students open the page and play. Nobody types anything, and there is nobody to talk to.
- Runs on school devices. Chromebooks, iPads, and desktops, with mouse, trackpad, or touch. Nothing to install.
- Short, clear rounds. One day is one round. The Camp screen between days is a natural “stop here” moment.
- Kind tone. Beaten goblins go POOF into coins and wander home. There's no blood and no one is really evil. The final boss turns out to be scared of the dark.
- No trackers. The game pages load no third-party scripts or advertising pixels.
Ideas for using it
Play one day together on the board and let the class call out where to aim. Ask students to predict which defender beats which enemy before the day starts, then check the enemy almanac. The day walkthroughs list every wave, so older students can plan a strategy and test it.
Progress saves on each device, so a class set of Chromebooks can each keep its own castle.
No ads
There are no ads in the game or beside it, on any screen, so it's safe to put up on the class board. The optional one-time Royal Charter only adds cosmetics and cloud backup. A classroom licence is on our list; write to support@castlebonk.com if you'd use one.
We don't claim curriculum alignment. It's a game, and a break is the point. Read the parents guide for our full safety notes.
