How to play
- Point to aim. Move your mouse or drag your finger to plant the aim flag. The archers on the castle balcony shoot wherever it points, and a dotted arc shows where the arrows will land.
- Grab the gold. Beaten baddies go POOF into coins. Sweep over the coins to collect them before they fade. Later upgrades pull coins in for you, all the way up to the Royal Vault Vacuum.
- Upgrade at Camp. Between days, spend gold on stronger walls, sharper arrows, towers, and new defenders like the Crossbow Tower, the Keep Catapult, and four magic mages.
- Send out troops. Tap the gate to march Footmen, Pikemen, Knights, Rangers, and Paladins onto the field to hold the line.
- Pick the right counter. Every enemy has a weakness. Shields block flat shots, trolls heal unless you use fire, and bats fly over your troops. From day 8 the Oracle shows tomorrow's enemies so you can plan.
Each day has new weather (wind, fog, snow, night, even an eclipse) that changes how you play. The last day of each region is a boss fight: Big Bruno, Ogre Chief, Old Mother Hollowbark, Frost Wyrm, The Brass Colossus and The Moon King.

The Moon King's army is grumpy and silly, never scary. Here are a few of the 30 enemy types in the enemy almanac:

Goblin Grunt
Goblin Grunts love two things: marching and grumbling. Mostly at the same time.

Scamp
Scamps run so fast they often forget where they were going.

Shieldbonk Goblin
Their shields are old pot lids. Arrows that fall from above go right over them!

Slinger
Slingers practice every day. They still mostly hit each other.

Hog Rider
The hogs are in charge. The riders just hold on and yell.

Wolf Rider
Wolf Riders leap right over barricades. The wolves just really love jumping.

Big Bruno, Ogre Chief
Big Bruno throws goblins. The goblins think it's the best ride ever.

Old Mother Hollowbark is 900 years old. She still tells squirrels to keep it down.

Questions parents ask
Is Castle Bonk safe for kids?
Yes. There is no chat, no free-text typing, and no loot boxes. Leaderboard names are built from friendly word lists. The game pages load no trackers or third-party scripts, and any ads sit outside the game area and are never personalized.
Does Castle Bonk have in-app purchases?
Just one, and it's optional: the $4.99 Royal Charter, bought once by a grown-up behind a parental gate. It removes ads and adds a few cosmetic castle decorations. It never makes you stronger, and everything that affects gameplay is earned by playing.
How long does Castle Bonk take to beat?
About 2 hours. The campaign is 30 short days of 2 to 5 minutes each, so it's easy to stop between days.
Do I need to download anything or make an account?
No. It plays in your web browser and saves your progress on your device. There is no sign-up to play.
What ages is it for?
Ages 6 and up. There are 4 difficulty levels, from Easy to Nightmare, and parents can fine-tune enemy speed, castle health, and more behind a grown-ups-only gate.
