Balloon Bomber
Balloon Bomber is a flying, drops bombs enemy from Emberwaste in Castle Bonk, a free castle defense game for kids. It belongs to Emberwaste and first marches in on Day 23, “Ember Rain”. After that it comes back on days 24–30.
Balloon Bombers can't steer. They just float and hope.

What it does
A patched hot-air balloon drifts in (and wind pushes it around). It hovers above the wall and drops bombs. Telegraph: the goblin lights a fuse and a shadow circle appears (0.8 s). Some bombs target towers (disabling a slot for 1.5 s). When it's popped, the goblin parachutes down with an umbrella and lands as a Goblin Grunt (dazed 1 s).
How to beat Balloon Bomber
Archers (a big slow target), Stormcaller, Ranger, and Crossbow Tower. Ground units only handle the parachuter.
Best counters: Balcony Archers, Stormcaller and Ranger.
Also works: Crossbow Tower and Pyromancer.
Not great against it: Keep Catapult, Boiling Oil, Sunbell Cleric, Footman, Pikeman, Knight and Paladin.
- It flies, so marching troops cannot reach it. Archers, crossbows, storm magic, and rangers can.
Balloon Bomber in the campaign
On Normal you'll face about 23 Balloon Bombers over 8 days, spread across 10 waves. The biggest crowd comes on Day 23, with 7 of them. Harder difficulty levels send more of them, with more health; Easy sends fewer.
What it looks like
A patchwork striped balloon in orange, rust, and purple, with a wicker basket and one goblin in an aviator scarf and goggles holding a round cartoon bomb. Gag: the goblin tries to wave at the archers before the balloon pops.
The elite version
It takes 2 pops (a two-stage envelope) and drops bombs in pairs.
