Goblin Grunt
Goblin Grunt is a basic walker enemy from Meadowvale in Castle Bonk, a free castle defense game for kids. It belongs to Meadowvale and first marches in on Day 1, “First Light”. After that it comes back on days 2–30. A golden elite version shows up on days 3, 5 and 9.
Goblin Grunts love two things: marching and grumbling. Mostly at the same time.

What it does
Walks straight at the wall and bonks it with a wooden club. It fights any marching unit that blocks it.
How to beat Goblin Grunt
Balcony Balcony Archers (4 arrows each), Footman (holds a line of grunts forever), and any splash.
Best counters: Balcony Archers and Footman.
Also works: Crossbow Tower, Keep Catapult, Boiling Oil, Pyromancer, Stormcaller, Pikeman, Knight, Ranger and Paladin.
- It wears no armor, so plain arrows do full damage.
Goblin Grunt in the campaign
On Normal you'll face about 398 Goblin Grunts over 30 days, spread across 49 waves. The biggest crowd comes on Day 11, with 24 of them. Harder difficulty levels send more of them, with more health; Easy sends fewer.
What it looks like
A round-bellied, pear-shaped goblin with big ears that bounce, a tiny rust-orange helmet two sizes too small, a patched tunic, bare feet, and a knobbly club. Gag: his helmet pops off when he's hit and he frantically jams it back on.
The elite version
A bigger club and a bugle; on spawn he toots it, and grunts within 200 px get +15% speed for 5 s.
