Enemy · Meadowvale
Scamp
Scamp is a fast, fragile runner enemy from Meadowvale in Castle Bonk, a free castle defense game for kids. It belongs to Meadowvale and first marches in on Day 2, “Kite Weather”. After that it comes back on days 3–14.
Scamps run so fast they often forget where they were going.

What it does
It sprints in with a wobbly zig-zag of ±20 px on the vertical, purely visual since the hitbox follows the ground line. At the wall it scratches and kicks. If a unit blocks it, it tries once to hop past the unit (a 40% chance).
How to beat Scamp
Archers leading the target, Footman, and Cryomancer slow.
Best counters: Cryomancer and Footman.
Also works: Balcony Archers, Boiling Oil, Pyromancer, Stormcaller, Knight and Ranger.
- It wears no armor, so plain arrows do full damage.
Scamp in the campaign
On Normal you'll face about 91 Scamps over 13 days, spread across 18 waves. The biggest crowd comes on Day 14, with 11 of them. Harder difficulty levels send more of them, with more health; Easy sends fewer.
What it looks like
A skinny, lanky goblin in a striped scarf that trails behind like a flag, with oversized sneaker-like foot wraps and a tongue out. Gag: he runs so fast his scarf keeps smacking the goblin behind him.
The elite version
Trails a dust cloud; it's the first 1.2 s after spawn at 3.0× speed.
