Moss Troll
Moss Troll is a regenerating tank enemy from Whisperwood in Castle Bonk, a free castle defense game for kids. It belongs to Whisperwood and first marches in on Day 10, “Moonlit Clearing”. After that it comes back on days 11–15 and 17–30. A golden elite version shows up on days 21, 23 and 27.
Moss Trolls heal super fast. They hate two things: hot oil and bath time.

What it does
A slow, sturdy walker. Regen: after 2 s without taking damage, it heals 5 HP/s, and moss visibly grows back on it. Fire (from Boiling Oil, fire arrows, or Pyromancer) stops regen for 4 s, and a little smoke puff appears on its head.
How to beat Moss Troll
Sustained damage (don't let up), Boiling Oil (the fire halt at the wall), Pyromancer, Keep Catapult, and a Pikeman holding it in place.
Best counters: Boiling Oil and Pyromancer.
Also works: Crossbow Tower, Keep Catapult, Cryomancer, Pikeman and Knight.
- It heals itself over time. Fire damage stops the healing.
Moss Troll in the campaign
On Normal you'll face about 47 Moss Trolls over 20 days, spread across 25 waves. The biggest crowd comes on Day 27, with 5 of them. Harder difficulty levels send more of them, with more health; Easy sends fewer.
What it looks like
A hulking, round-shouldered troll covered in green moss and little flowers, with a long droopy nose, tiny eyes, and a log as a club. Gag: a snail rides on his shoulder the whole time, and on the poof the snail is left sitting in midair for a beat before sliding off-screen.
The elite version
Regen starts after 1 s, and it heals nearby allies for 1 HP/s.
