Gloom Wisp
Gloom Wisp is a ethereal enemy from Shadowmoor in Castle Bonk, a free castle defense game for kids. It belongs to Shadowmoor and first marches in on Day 25, “Wisp Lights”. After that it comes back on days 26–30. A golden elite version shows up on days 27 and 29.
Gloom Wisps are little puffs of sad fog. Holy light cheers them right up. And away.

How to beat Gloom Wisp
Cleric (holy; it unlocks this same day), Paladin aura, and the three mages. Arrows and catapults show "resist".
Best counters: Sunbell Cleric and Paladin.
Also works: Pyromancer, Cryomancer and Stormcaller.
Not great against it: Balcony Archers, Crossbow Tower, Keep Catapult, Boiling Oil, Footman, Pikeman, Knight and Ranger.
- Ethereal foes take 75% less damage from normal weapons and 50% more from holy light.
Gloom Wisp in the campaign
On Normal you'll face about 64 Gloom Wisps over 6 days, spread across 14 waves. The biggest crowd comes on Day 27, with 17 of them. Harder difficulty levels send more of them, with more health; Easy sends fewer.
What it looks like
A translucent lavender-teal teardrop flame with two big shy eyes and a wavy tail, dripping sparkles. It glows through fog and night. Gag: it's actually scared of everything; it covers its eyes with its wisps when arrows fly past.
The elite version
It has 2 decoy wisps that poof in 1 hit and give no gold.
