Wolf Rider
Wolf Rider is a fast, leaps over barricades enemy from Whisperwood in Castle Bonk, a free castle defense game for kids. It belongs to Whisperwood and first marches in on Day 7, “Howls at Gloaming”. After that it comes back on days 8–26 and 28–30. A golden elite version shows up on days 15 and 20.
Wolf Riders leap right over barricades. The wolves just really love jumping.

What it does
It runs in fast. Leap: the first time it meets a marching unit, Spikes, or the Moat, it pounces over it (a 0.6 s arc of 180 px, untargetable by ground units while airborne, though arrows still hit). There's one leap per life.
How to beat Wolf Rider
A braced Pikeman stops the leap (pikes up: the wolf bonks into them and is dazed for 2 s), Cryomancer slow, and Balcony Archers leading shots. Footman lines get hopped.
Best counters: Cryomancer and Pikeman.
Also works: Balcony Archers, Crossbow Tower, Boiling Oil, Pyromancer and Stormcaller.
Not great against it: Footman.
- It wears no armor, so plain arrows do full damage.
Wolf Rider in the campaign
On Normal you'll face about 80 Wolf Riders over 23 days, spread across 31 waves. The biggest crowd comes on Day 30, with 8 of them. Harder difficulty levels send more of them, with more health; Easy sends fewer.
What it looks like
A grey-teal shaggy wolf with a goofy tongue-out grin, ridden by a goblin in a wolf-hood with floppy ears, wielding a bone-shaped club. Gag: the wolf is clearly a big friendly dog. It stops to scratch its ear for 0.5 s after a leap.
The elite version
Two leaps per life, and a howl on spawn gives other riders +10% speed.
