Ice Golem
Ice Golem is a armored, icy enemy from Frostpeak in Castle Bonk, a free castle defense game for kids. It belongs to Frostpeak and first marches in on Day 15, “Alpenglow”. After that it comes back on days 17, 20, 21, 24, 25 and 27–30.
An Ice Golem is a snowman who started lifting weights.

What it does
A slow, heavily armored block of ice. Shed shell: at 50% HP its ice armor cracks off (a 1 s stagger telegraph), which removes Armored and raises speed to 0.8×.
How to beat Ice Golem
Catapult (blunt +50%), Pyromancer (+50%), Crossbow Tower, and Knight. Archers "resist" until the shell cracks.
Best counters: Keep Catapult and Pyromancer.
Also works: Crossbow Tower, Boiling Oil and Knight.
Not great against it: Balcony Archers, Cryomancer and Ranger.
- Armor halves arrow and bolt damage, and blunt hits like catapult boulders do 50% more.
- Icy foes take 50% more fire damage and shrug off frost.
Ice Golem in the campaign
On Normal you'll face about 13 Ice Golems over 10 days, spread across 13 waves. The biggest crowd comes on Day 15, with 3 of them. Harder difficulty levels send more of them, with more health; Easy sends fewer.
What it looks like
A boxy, glacier-blue body made of stacked ice cubes, with glowing cyan eyes and a moss beard. Inside, a smaller cute ice-cube golem is visible through the translucent shell. Gag: when the shell cracks, the little one inside looks down at itself, then up, and waves awkwardly.
The elite version
Its shell regrows once, 8 s after cracking.
