Sled Raiders have no brakes. They also have no plan.

What it does
A toboggan carrying 3 goblin_scamps in winter gear whooshes in. It's immune to snow slow and gets +20% speed in Snow/Blizzard. When the sled is destroyed, or it crashes into a unit or the wall, the 3 scamps tumble out and act as normal scamps. Its crash burst does 12 damage to the wall or unit.
How to beat Sled Raiders
Frost mage (slows the sled, and it unlocks on day 17), Pikeman (braced pikes pop the sled before it reaches the wall), Keep Catapult splash on the crew, and Balcony Archers.
Best counters: Cryomancer and Pikeman.
Also works: Balcony Archers, Crossbow Tower, Keep Catapult, Boiling Oil, Pyromancer and Stormcaller.
- It wears no armor, so plain arrows do full damage.
Sled Raiders in the campaign
On Normal you'll face about 19 Sled Raiders over 6 days, spread across 9 waves. The biggest crowd comes on Day 17, with 8 of them. Harder difficulty levels send more of them, with more health; Easy sends fewer.
What it looks like
A red wooden toboggan with a curled front and a bell, carrying three goblins in bobble hats and matching sweaters (the front one wears goggles). Gag: the back goblin always falls off first, and the others don't notice.
The elite version
4 riders, and the sled survives the first crash, reversing and trying again.
